The first ever print run of the Broadwindsor map — created as part of Windrose’s The Place I Love project — will be ready in time for Christmas 2024!
There are two options to choose from:
Updated Map A3: £20.00
This is the original map with a few updates and added extras to be spotted around the village. A smaller colour print on standard paper stock.
Artist’s Edit A2: £70.00
For this edition the artist will be revisiting the map to finesse and refresh the artwork according to her creative vision, as well as adding the updates mentioned above. These will be Giclee quality artworks printed on matte stock.
50% of all profits will go to Windrose to be spent on further community projects within Broadwindsor and 50% will go to the artist

The Place I Love project, led by Margery Hookings and launched in Broadwindsor, Dorset, celebrated local landscape, history, and rural heritage. It included an art exhibition, field name mapping, local folk songs, and community participation. The project culminated with the unveiling of The Broadwindsor Map, an interpretative map by artist Megan Edwards. Inspired by Dorset’s farming past, the project also involved collecting folk songs and working with schools to create poetry. Though officially ended, it continues through spin-offs and online updates.
